Executive Director

The Board of Trustees seeks a well-organized, energetic, and personable individual with experience in nonprofit administration, as well as the ability to manage operations of the museum and implement programs related to the organization's mission.  Working with and reporting to the board, the Executive Director will lead the team in advancing the mission and ensuring future growth.  The director will foster cooperative working relationships among the board, staff, volunteers, and community, and will raise the level of public participation in museum activities. Day-to-day operations, fiscal oversight, fund-raising, contract negotiations, collections care, educational programming, physical integrity of the site, and community outreach will be the responsibilities of the Executive Director.
